(1) About the IDEW
Under China’s Innovation & Development Strategy and The Belt & Road Initiative, IDEW is initiated by Smart Learning Institute of Beijing Normal University. The IDEW project is held every three months for three days, 1.5 hours a day. And there will be lectures from 4 different countries sharing their stories via the form of online video. It will exchange and share the valuable things worth spreading in the fields of education, design, humanity, etc. And a concise and efficient platform will be offered to people focusing on innovation practices, action plans and cooperation opportunities in the future.

Speaker
Prof. Kekang He, Professor of School of Educational Technology, Beijing Normal University, Director of the Modern Educational Technology Institute and Honorary Professor of Northeast Normal University. He has engaged in the research of ICT in education for a long time, and gradually created a new family education theory in creative thinking theory, new theory of children's thinking development, constructive teaching design theory, etc.

In the intelligence era, the emerging information technology (IT) has
been rapidly applied in people’s work, study, life and other fields, especially
in the field of education. IT mainly encompasses four aspects: Big Data, Cloud
Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Internet + Education. IT has exerted a
profound influence on the deepening reform of education at all levels and of
all types. Now, under the momentum of the emerging IT, the transformation from
“digital campus” to “smart campus” is well underway.
