Bachelor Degree Programs
Aged between 18 and 40; high school certificate or higher academic degree.
Major in Liberal Arts needs HSK level six or above; Majors in Chinese Languageand Science need HSK level three or above. While students who have already completed level 101 (with marks of 80% or above) in the BNU College of Chinese Language and Culture and are applying for the Bachelor program in the same college do not need to provide HSK certification.

Masters Degree Programs
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport under 50 years old.
Applicants for Masters degrees should hold a qualification which is equivalent (or above) to a Bachelors degree from a Chinese university.
Applicants must have a high Chinese level. In principle, applicants for liberal arts degrees must hold at least a new HSK level five 195 or above; applicants for science and engineering degrees must hold at least a new HSK level four 210 or above.

PhD Programs
Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport under 50 years old.
Applicants for PhD degrees should hold a qualification which is equivalent (or above) to a Masters degree from a Chinese university.

English-taught Program
Applicant should be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport under 50 years old. (Former Chinese citizens naturalized into other nationalities are required to provide certification of the cancellation of their Hukou and ID card; this certification should be issued by the Public Security Bureau.)
Master Program Applicant should hold a qualification which is equivalent to (or above) a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
Doctoral Program Applicant should hold a qualification which is equivalent to (or above) a Master’s degree from a Chinese university.
