JULY 2025 GRADUATION NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENTS
On 2025-Jun-16Dear Graduating International Students:
Congratulations on your graduation from Beijing Normal University! Please be aware of the following issues and complete the departure procedures before you start your new journey:
I. Departure Date for Graduating Students
All graduating students should complete the departure procedures by June 30, 2025.
II. Graduation Departure Procedures
1. Complete Online System of Graduation Departure
Please log in to the online system of graduation departure (“离校系统”) from June 13, 8:00 a.m. to July 1 0:00 a.m. to fill in the “Future Prospects of Graduated International Students” (“留学生毕业去向”), check and complete all the requirements from other departments.
l Visit the Information Portal at http://one.bnu.edu.cn (the username is your student number; if you forget your password, you can try your date of birth (YYYYMMDD), student number, or the last 6 digits of your passport number. If it still doesn't work, you can contact 58808113 to modify the password). Log in to "信息门户" and find "离校管理系统" on the school's website to enter the online system of graduation departure.
Note: Please use the full amount of the card before June 30. After July 1, the Information Network Center will cancel the student campus card in batches. The balance will be refunded to your bank account (if bound previously) after approval.
2. Confirmation of Your Visa Date
For students whose current visa expires after July 31, 2025, you need to change the visa before collecting the graduation certificate and degree certificate. Generally the procedure takes around ten (10) working days, please submit the application at least three weeks in advance. For the application please bring your passport, registration form of temporary residence, and one picture to the International Student Office (Room 9107, Jingshi Building).
3. Confirm Tuition Payment
Please confirm your tuition payment status. Please complete all payment online before June 25.
l How to complete online payment: log in to the “ BNU International Student Service System” https://bnu.17gz.org/, the payment information will appear on the homepage. Click “Go to pay” to finish the online payment as directed. Please send questions or concerns to: isp@bnu.edu.cn.
4. Dormitory Check-out
Students who live in the university dormitory should complete the check-out formalities before June 30.
The university provide luggage storage service for graduated students who continue study of master's or PhD program at BNU. Location: Liyun Apartment, Date & time: June 19 (Thursday) - June 30 (Monday), 8:00 - 11:30, 14:00 - 17:00.
If you have personal needs for luggage storage or temporary accommodation, please submit a written request to your department before June 26th. After approval, submit it to the International Students Office. The university will make arrangements according to the actual situation.
III. Graduation Ceremony
The graduation ceremony will be held on June 26. For specific arrangements, please consult your department for more information.
IV. Collection of Certificates and Transcripts
The graduation certificate, degree certificate, transcript and other documents can be received from the office of your department (the certificate can only be received after completing the online departure system). The collection time is subject to the notices of each department.
l If you need to apply for an English graduation certificate or English transcript, please contact the university archive after collecting your graduation certificate and transcript.
V. If you are not graduating this semester
If you are not graduating in July 2025, please be sure to apply to your department for study extension or withdrawal from university before June 30, 2025 (complete attachment 1). For students applying for extension, after the school's approval, they need to pay the tuition fee and complete the registration procedures for the next semester. For students who withdraw from school, after completing the leaving procedures (complete attachment 2), the school will issue certificate accordingly.
